LMS Cross · Devon & Northwestern Ontario

Landscapes and tree portraits
of places worth remembering.

Hand-drawn prints and blank greeting cards, posted worldwide.

About LMS Cross

Landscape art of the places I have walked.

Every piece is a real, recognisable spot — a lane on Dartmoor, a creek on the River Dart, a shoreline in Northwestern Ontario — drawn by hand in graphite, coloured pencil and oils, with no digital shortcuts and no generative AI.

Prints and blank greeting cards of the originals are packed carefully and posted worldwide from Northwestern Ontario, Canada. Painted canvases will follow.

The Artist

Behind LMS Cross.

“I may not be able to physically visit my special spots any longer, but I can travel to them in my artwork instantly.”

I've always been connected to art. Depicting the places that are special to me, as a way to capture their essence, has become even more important since moving continent from the Westcountry of the UK to Northwestern Ontario.

Each drawing takes many hours of layering pencil. If you recognise the place, that is exactly the point.
